Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. in Findlay, OH is seeking an experienced Line Clearance Foreman to lead a 2-5 person tree crew in utility pruning and removal services for Northwestern Ohio.

CDL holder and/or climbing experience preferred, with a focus on safety and efficient job performance. Responsibilities include directing crew, inspecting job sites, maintaining tools such as chainsaws, chippers and aerial lifts, and mentoring new hires.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a line clearance crew.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• CDL-Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain.
• ISA/TCIA certifications preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 2–5 person tree crew in pruning, removal, and related services safely.
• Perform job-site inspections with proper planning and execution.
• Maintain, prepare, and operate tools and equipment (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Mentor and train new employees.
