Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking an experienced Line Clearance Foreman/Foreperson to lead a crew serving Medina/Lorain County, OH for Lorain-Medina Rural Electric. CDL holder and climbing experience are preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and utility line clearance work.

Qualifications

• Line clearance experience or other related tree work.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• CDL-Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement preferred.
• ISA/TCIA certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 2-5 person tree crew in pruning and removal for utility providers.
• Prune treetops and remove damaged limbs safely.
• Inspect job sites and plan tasks; maintain tools and equipment.
• Mentor and train new employees.
