Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a skilled Utility Foreman to plan, coordinate, and supervise daily utility construction activities in a fast-paced field environment. You will lead crews, ensure safety and quality, and maintain production schedules from start to finish.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of underground utilities, adherence to OSHA regulations, and the ability to read and interpret plans.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising utility construction crews.
• Thorough knowledge of underground utility installation methods.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to complete daily reports accurately and on time.
• Valid driver's license (preferred or required based on company policy).

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations on all jobsites.
• Supervise daily utility installation activities to meet schedule and specifications.
• Coordinate with survey personnel for daily and upcoming layout requirements.
• Ensure installed work is surveyed and documented prior to backfilling.
• Monitor material inventory and communicate upcoming material needs to prevent delays.
• Complete accurate daily production reports, equipment logs, and employee time sheets.
• Report daily production progress to the Superintendent.
