Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC in Arizona is seeking a Designer to design engineering systems for overhead and subsurface utility projects with increasing independence. The role includes coaching entry-level staff and owning all design lifecycle phases from initiation through construction closeout.

Work location: Arizona. You will perform CADD work in AutoCAD and MicroStation, design civil/site development, gas and pipeline installations, and overhead/underground electrical and telecommunications layouts,

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related technical field (preferred).
• Related technical certificates in CADD and related software platforms (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform CADD work in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS systems.
• Design civil/site development, gas & pipeline installations, and electrical/telecom layouts.
• Coach and mentor entry-level staff; own all design lifecycle phases.
