Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Design Lead to perform CAD design duties primarily in AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation. The role involves developing utility and electrical designs for construction, preparing reports, and coordinating with engineers and staff.

Office location: Philadelphia or Norristown, PA. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of utility design and CAD drafting experience, proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation, and Office365, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related technical field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in utility design, CAD drafting, and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation, and Office365 suite.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop design packages for civil, electrical, and structural projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation for utility infrastructure design.
• Review utility records and basemaps to support design development.
• Maintain project files, archives, and CAD standards; guide team members.
• Coordinate with clients, government entities, and permitting agencies for permits.
• Support procurement, bidding, and construction documentation.
