Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC seeks an Electrical Associate Graduate Engineer to design electrical, civil, and construction systems for overhead and subsurface utilities. You will own all phases from initiation to closeout, collaborating with clients and project teams.

Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited), 0-2 years of experience, and US work authorization; EIT preferred. Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• EIT certification preferred.
• US driver's license and US work authorization.
• Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for overhead and subsurface utilities in compliance with specs and codes.
• Own all design phases from initiation through construction and closeout.
• Prepare detailed drawings and documentation using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS tools.
• Analyze surveys, atlas data, field sketches, and datasheets for project inputs.
• Communicate technical information clearly to management and field staff.
• Support project risk management and schedule adherence.
