Job summary

Allied Resources is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support Transmission & Substation capital projects for a leading utility client. This role requires delivering projects from planning through execution and closeout, coordinating cross-functional teams.

You will develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resources while monitoring performance, forecasting costs, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in utilities, engineering, construction, or a related industry.
• Experience supporting Transmission & Substation projects.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Engineering, technical, or related degree (or equivalent industry experience).
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Transmission & Substation projects from planning through execution and closeout.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, and stakeholder activities to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Manage project financials, cost forecasting, and budget performance.
• Facilitate project meetings, provide leadership updates, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, and key stakeholders while driving project success.
