Job summary

Orange & Rockland is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee major electric and gas infrastructure construction in the New York area. You will plan, organize, and direct all aspects of projects to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.

You will lead multi-department collaboration, secure permits, monitor costs, and manage safety and environmental compliance. Expect heavy coordination, regular reporting, and occasional after-hours work when emergencies arise.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience or
• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience or
• Associate's degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience or
• High school/GED with 7+ years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Direct major system expansion, upgrade and construction projects and provide progress reports.
• Coordinate with multiple Company Departments during implementation and secure permits.
• Monitor schedules, costs and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Lead discussions in design meetings and manage project documentation and budgets.
• Ensure outages and work permits are identified and secured for field work.
