Job summary

NY STATE ELECTRIC & GAS CORP seeks a Manager - Projects Unit to oversee project teams across Maine, New York, and Connecticut. You will drive budgets, schedules, scope, and quality while coordinating with engineers, construction managers, and other stakeholders.

The role reports to the Director - Projects and requires managing complex enterprise initiatives with regulatory sensitivity. Expect travel across multiple sites and engagement with regulatory bodies as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 7 years PM experience.
• Experience managing complex enterprise initiatives with regulatory sensitivity.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FERC/NERC).
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets/schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance of team to ensure goals, schedules, budgets, and deliverables are met.
• Identify interdependencies and resolve interactions among projects.
• Control project scope to mitigate changes and risks.
• Produce status reports for executives/regulators.
