Job summary

Henkels & McCoy, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to support planning, execution, and delivery of power utility construction projects in New Jersey.

You will coordinate resources, manage schedules, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate has a relevant bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in construction project coordination, with familiarity in OSHA/DOT safety protocols and utility standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination.
• Familiarity with utility standards and safety protocols (OSHA, DOT).

Responsibilities

• Manage planning and scheduling construction activities for utility projects.
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to support daily operations.
• Monitor progress, budget, and timelines; report variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain project documentation including contracts, permits, change orders, and daily reports.
• Assist with procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery to job sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations; participate in project meetings.
• Track project performance and prepare cost-to-complete and earned value reports.
