Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 10 years of work experience in the Insurance Industry.
• Background in mentoring a team of Underwriting Assistants.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in training and mentoring employees is essential.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Underwriting Assistants, Submissions staff, and interns to promote productivity and growth.
• Coordinate workflow, prioritize tasks, balance workloads, and communicate needs to management.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to support staff development.
• Identify training needs and create materials to support staff success.
• Oversee workflow processes including data entry, file creation, and quality control to ensure accuracy and compliance.
