Alliant Insurance Services is seeking an experienced underwriting leader in New York to drive advanced pricing and analytics for complex cases. You will supervise underwriters and analysts, coordinate with producers, clients and executives, and shape strategy for pricing programs and models.

The role requires a strong track record in underwriting, leadership, and data-driven decision-making, with a commitment to ongoing education and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years related work experience.
• One or more years of management experience leading a team of at least 3 individuals.
• Valid Insurance License and Continuing Education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Expert in underwriting areas including pricing and marketing projects.
• Meet with Producers, clients, Underwriters, and Account Executives to define and accomplish projects.
• Manage team of Underwriters and Analysts and determine workload distribution.
• Assist in determining strategic goals including resource planning, education/training needs, policy development and growth.
• Identify and manage external partner relationships with carriers, external consultants and third party administrators.
• Lead client underwriting projects and present analyses to clients in a clear manner.
• Maintain data tracking and reporting for financial management and underwriting models.
