Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) or more years related work experience.
• One (1) or more years of management experience leading a team of at least 3 individuals.
• Valid Insurance License.
• Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting and pricing projects and provide expert insights.
• Meet with Producers, clients, Underwriters, and Account Executives to define and accomplish projects.
• Manage team of Underwriters and Analysts to determine workload distribution.
• Coordinate strategic goals including resource planning, education/training, policy development and growth.
• Oversee external relationships with carriers, consultants, and third-party administrators.
• Demonstrate mastery of actuarial plan values and pricing analysis using appropriate software.
• Modify underwriting models and reporting templates to meet client needs.
• Present analyses to clients in a clear, confident manner.
• Support prospecting activities including RFP responses and client presentations.
• Maintain data tracking and reporting for financials and analytics.
