Job summary

Qualifications

Strong ability to manage field foremen and crews, providing direction and training.
OSHA 30-hour certification is often required.
Knowledge of heavy equipment and its use in utility excavation and installation.

Responsibilities

Supervise field crews and subcontractors for underground utilities installation.
Plan day-to-day operations, prioritize tasks, and manage material deliveries and equipment onsite.
Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and adherence to regulations.
Enforce safety policies, including OSHA standards and company programs.
Work with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to resolve issues and meet milestones.
Inspect work in progress and manage site logistics (fencing, erosion control, site prep).
