Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Site Superintendent to manage on-site construction, installation, and maintenance of underground utilities and site work. You will supervise field crews, plan daily operations, and ensure safety and compliance with plans and specifications.

The role requires several years in heavy civil construction focused on utilities, proficiency with blueprints, leadership of foremen, and OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in heavy civil construction, focused on underground utilities.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and site plans for utility installation.
• Ability to manage field foremen and crews, providing direction and training.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is often required.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment used in utility excavation and installation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews and subcontractors for underground utilities installation.
• Plan day-to-day operations, prioritize tasks, and manage material deliveries.
• Interpret blueprints and project plans to ensure compliance with specs.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA standards on site.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors to meet milestones.
• Inspect on-site work and manage site logistics (fencing, erosion control).
