Qualifications

• Experience in heavy civil construction with underground utilities (water, sewer, storm).
• Ability to read blueprints and site plans accurately.
• Proven leadership capability to manage field foremen and crews.
• OSHA 30-hour certification often required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews and subcontractors for underground utilities installation.
• Plan day-to-day operations, prioritize tasks, manage material deliveries and onsite equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, plans and specs to ensure correct installation and regulatory compliance.
• Enforce safety policies, including OSHA standards and company programs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and inspectors to meet milestones.
• Inspect work in progress and manage site logistics (fencing, erosion control, site prep).
