Job summary

Coastal Pipeline Inc in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Underground Utility Pipe Foreman to lead on-site crews with a focus on safety and quality. This role commands ditch operations, supervises heavy equipment, and ensures projects meet schedule and specifications across Broward and Palm Beach counties.

You will coach field crews, read civil plans, manage materials, and maintain daily records while upholding OSHA standards and company values.

Qualifications

• Underground utility construction experience 5–7 years.
• Proficient with excavators, loaders and heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Ability to read civil plans and set grades using laser levels.
• Valid OSHA trench safety and confined space certifications required.
• Strong leadership, communication and record-keeping skills.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean history.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews on complex underground utility projects.
• Operate excavators and loaders safely on site.
• Interpret plans, set grades with laser levels.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and trench safety on site.
• Coordinate with inspectors, general contractors and team.
• Maintain on-site material inventory and logs.
• Document daily records and weekly safety meetings.
• Oversee maintenance of trucks and equipment.
• Foster reliability, professionalism and safety.
