Job summary

Coastal Pipeline Inc in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Pipelayer to join our field crew. This hands-on role requires expertise in underground water, sewer, and drainage installations, and the ability to work independently while delivering quality craftsmanship.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of pipe laying experience, strong surveying skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency on every project.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years verifiable pipe laying experience (water, sewer, drainage).
• Strong understanding of grade shooting and ditch grading.
• Proficiency with laser leveling equipment and surveying tools.
• Experience setting manholes, catch basins, and related cement work.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Physically capable of lifting 75+ lbs and working outdoors in all weather.
• Self-starter with ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Install water, sewer, and drainage pipes accurately and efficiently.
• Perform ditch grading and layout using laser levels and grade rods.
• Set manholes and catch basins with proper cement work.
• Interpret blueprints and construction plans for correct alignment and depth.
• Use grade shooting techniques to verify elevations, slopes, and alignment.
• Ensure installations meet project specs, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Maintain tools and perform minor on-site repairs.
• Coordinate installation workflow with supervisors and crew members.
