Job summary

Coastal Pipeline, Inc. in Deerfield Beach, Florida is seeking an Experienced Underground Pipelayer. The role requires 5+ years of verifiable pipe laying across water, sewer, and drainage systems, with OSHA 10 certification.

You will operate on-site to install, align, and grade pipe networks for water, sewer, and storm drainage. This on-site position demands physical endurance, safety focus, and independence to manage tasks and meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years verifiable pipe laying experience across water, sewer, and drainage systems.
• Active OSHA 10 Hour Safety Certification.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs regularly and work outdoors in South Florida weather.
• Self-starter with ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Pipe Installation: Install water distribution, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage pipes with accuracy and efficiency.
• Laser and Grade Operations: Perform ditch grading and layout using laser levels, grade rods, and elevation verification techniques.
• Structural Setting: Set manholes and catch basins with cement work and proper finishes.
• Plan and Blueprint Interpretation: Read blueprints and plans to ensure correct alignment and depth.
• Quality and Safety Assurance: Ensure installations meet project specs, codes, and OSHA regulations.
• Maintenance and Tooling: Maintain tools and perform minor on-site repairs.
• Crew Collaboration: Coordinate daily workflows with field supervisors and crew members.
