Job summary

Penske is seeking an experienced Technician at our Honolulu location. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, acting as a lead at your site and mentoring others while learning from management.

You will work independently on major and minor repairs, run road tests, and complete maintenance tasks. Penske emphasizes safety, training, and continued career growth for skilled technicians.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications (preferred).
• DOT/OSHA safety policies compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles and ensure safety for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials; replace assemblies as needed.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Utilize Penske tools for diagnostics and repairs; log work performed.
• Participate in Penske technician training and development.
• Support other projects as assigned by supervisor.
