Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Technician I at Riviera Beach, FL who will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet. You will work independently on major and minor repairs, conduct road tests, and mentor newer technicians while following Penske safety policies.

You will use Penske’s advanced diagnostic tools and receive training to advance your career in a stable, growth-minded environment with competitive pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Specialized training in engines, transmissions, differentials; ASE Certification preferred.
• Experience with welding, diagnostic tools, and hand and power tools.
• CDL preferred; valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to solve problems and provide strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair trucks and trailers to ensure safety and reliability.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and repair major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Keep work area clean and safe; log repairs with Penske tools.
• Mentor peers and learn from the supervisor; adapt to various OEM equipment.
• Travel within district as required; follow DOT/OSHA safety policies.
