Job summary

Penske is seeking an experienced Technician at our Morristown location to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across a wide fleet. You will mentor others, work independently, and handle road tests to diagnose problems while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
• The ability to solve problems and work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Performing preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Repairing and troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Keeping work area clean and safe.
• Using Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs.
• Learning new skills through Penske’s technician training.
