Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Technician on-site in Kalamazoo. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs across a diverse fleet, set an example for others, and lead by experience while learning Penske’s processes and technologies.

You’ll be trusted to work independently, complete major and minor repairs, and participate in ongoing technician training. This role offers growth opportunities, strong benefits, and a path to career stability.

Qualifications

• Requires 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred; ASE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicle safety for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision and timely.
• Repair major components such as engines, transmissions and differentials.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools and diagnostics to log and complete repairs.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Willing to travel within the district as needed.
