Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shop management or lead technician role.
• Knowledge of truck upfitting, fabrication, or heavy equipment installation.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, schematics, and technical docs.
• Strong communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver's license; CDL or certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day shop operations, workflow, and production scheduling.
• Supervise, mentor, and manage shop technicians and support staff.
• Ensure quality control standards are met on all truck equipment installations and repairs.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
• Manage parts inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized shop environment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide hands-on guidance to technicians as needed.
