Job summary

Wright Tree Service is hiring a Crew Leader to coach the crew, enforce safety practices, and allocate work at outdoor job sites. The role involves tree trimming/removal, herbicide application, and coordinating with property owners and customers.

You will lead by example, manage daily tasks, and ensure OSHA standards are met while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience on tree trimming or clearing crews.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• CPR/First-Aid certification preferred within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to interpret maps and ANSI standards related to tree care.

Responsibilities

• Coaches crew on safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Allocates tasks and prioritizes work at the job site.
• Operates herbicide equipment and documents application records.
• Ensures access to job sites and coordinates with owners and customers.
• Maintains equipment and reports maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Directs traffic and sets up safety barriers as needed.
