Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 years of roadway maintenance or construction experience.
• Substitutions for minimum qualifications allowed with related college education or technical training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budget preparation for the section.
• Supervise and oversee crews and contractors, including scheduling equipment, material and personnel.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement emergency response to inclement weather, accidents, and hazardous spills affecting roadways.
• Lead daily work assignments and provide guidance on complex questions and troubleshooting.
• Maintain records on materials, supplies and personnel.
