Qualifications

• Must have 7 years roadway maintenance or construction-related work for Supervisor I.
• Must have 8 years roadway maintenance or construction-related work with 3 years supervisory/managerial experience for Supervisor II.
• Related college education or technical training may substitute for experience year-for-year.
• Valid driver’s license and Class A CDL with N Tank endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Administers and inspects contracted maintenance activities.
• Handles public complaints.
• Plans emergency response to inclement weather, flooding, accidents and hazmat spills affecting area roadways.
• Plans, schedules and coordinates personnel, equipment, and materials with the Area Engineer and district staff.
• Prepares and monitors the budget.
