WSP USA is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join the Transportation & Infrastructure team in downtown Seattle, WA. You will lead design for electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and control systems on transit stations, tunnels, bridges and more.

You will mentor junior engineers and drive projects through planning, design, and construction phases. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, civil/structural engineers and clients while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited university.
• 7 to 10 years of post education experience as an electrical engineer for transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• Proficient with electrical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and permitting.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience delivering project plans, specifications, estimates and reports.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with engineering and non‑engineering audiences.
• AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite; Agi32 familiarity.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate subcontractors safely.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, development and production of transportation and infrastructure electrical projects.
• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary project meetings with design team members and clients.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards and quality plans.
• Conduct site investigations, facility assessments and construction observations.
• Review submittals, shop drawings and RFIs for compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and review electrical power calculations and lighting calculations.
• Apply advanced electrical engineering techniques from concept to operation.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and maintain client relationships.
• Remain current with industry practices and company policies.
