WSP USA in Seattle seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to join the Transportation & Infrastructure team in our downtown office. You will lead design and delivery of power, lighting, fire alarm and control systems for transit projects, mentor staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

This role offers hybrid work flexibility and opportunities to impact local transportation and infrastructure, with responsibilities spanning planning through construction and client engagement.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 7–10 years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer for transportation projects.
• Professional Engineering License required.
• Proficient with electrical power, lighting, fire alarm and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and QA practices; able to lead design teams.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam and MS Office; Agi32 familiarity.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and client meetings; travel may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, development and production of transportation electrical projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary project meetings with design teams and clients.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards and QA plans.
• Conduct site investigations, facility assessments and construction observation.
• Review submittals, shop drawings and RFIs for compliance.
• Prepare and review electrical load calculations and lighting calculations.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate subcontractors.
