Job summary

CDR Maguire Inc. seeks a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor for the I-83 River Bridge project in York County, opening February 2027. You will coordinate with contractors, consultants, and engineers, preparing daily reports and supervising inspectors to ensure contract compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering required.
• NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction required.
• NECEPT Bituminous field certification required.
• ACI/PennDOT Concrete field technician certification required.
• PennDOT/PTC CDS certification required.
• ECMS experience required.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification required.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Consult with contractors, consultants, engineers, job superintendents on plans, specs, materials, and safety.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain schedules; check shop drawings for variations.
• Keep records of quantities and cost of materials; prepare payment claims and recommend payment.
• Supervise a staff of inspectors and ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Travel as required and adapt to adverse weather conditions.

Education

BS Civil Engineering

NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction

NECEPT Bituminous field certification

ACI/PennDOT Concrete field technician certification

PennDOT/PTC CDS certification

ECMS experience

OSHA 10-Hour certification
