Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or post secondary education; able to read, write and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Consult with contractors, consultants, engineers, and job superintendents on plans, specs, materials, equipment, and safety.
• Prepare and submit daily reports of work and maintain progress schedules.
• Check shop drawings and contractor quotations for variations.
• Supervise a staff of inspectors if assigned.

Education

BS Civil Engineering

NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction

NECEPT Bituminous field certification

ACI/PennDOT Concrete field technician certification

PennDOT/PTC CDS certification

ECMS experience

OSHA 10-Hour certification
