Job summary

CDR Maguire Inc., a national multi-disciplinary engineering firm, seeks a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor for the I-83 River Bridge project in York County, with a February 2027 opening. The TCIS consults with contractors, engineers, and superintendents on plans, specs, materials, and safety, and prepares daily progress reports.

Required are a BS Civil Engineering and NICET Level 2+ in Transportation/Highway Construction, plus ECMS experience and certifications in bituminous,

Qualifications

• CS/engineering degree required and relevant licensure.
• NICET level or higher certification in transportation/highway construction.
• Field certifications in bituminous, concrete, CDS, and OSHA 10.
• ECMS experience preferred; ability to read plans and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Consult with contractors, consultants, engineers and superintendents on plans, specs, materials, equipment and safety.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain progress schedules.
• Check shop drawings and contractor quotations for variations; track quantities and costs of materials.
• Supervise staff of inspectors as needed; ensure compliance with contract documents and safety plans.
