Job summary

CDR Maguire Inc. is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor for the I-83 River Bridge project in York County with a February 2027 opening. The role involves coordinating with contractors, engineers and job superintendents on plans, specifications and safety practices.

The TCIS will prepare daily reports, manage progress schedules and verify shop drawings. Experience with NICET, PennDOT and ECMS, plus a strong safety record, is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate in English and perform basic math.
• BS Civil Engineering is required.
• NICET Level 2+ in Transportation/Highway Construction or equivalent is required.
• NECEPT Bituminous field certification is required.
• ACI/PennDOT Concrete field technician certification is required.
• PennDOT/PTC CDS certification is required.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification is required.
• ECMS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with contractors, consultants, engineers, job superintendents and others on plans, specifications, materials, equipment, and methods, and safety precautions.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain progress schedules.
• Check shop drawings and quotations for variations; keep quantity and cost records.
• Supervise a staff of inspectors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents and safety plans.
• Travel as required to sites and as directed by supervisor.
