Job summary

CDR Maguire Inc. seeks a Transportation Construction Inspector for the I-83 River Bridge project in York County, South Carolina, with a February 2027 opening.

The TCI will consult with contractors, consultants, engineers and job superintendents on plans, specifications, materials, equipment and safety, and will prepare daily progress reports and schedules. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a BS in Civil Engineering preferred, and certifications such as OSHA 10, PennDOT CDS and

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or higher; able to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.
• Preferred BS Civil Engineering and relevant certifications listed.
• Experience in construction administration and safety compliance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Consult with contractors, consultants, engineers and job superintendents on plans, materials, safety and methods.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports and maintain progress schedules.
• Check shop drawings and quantities; verify contractor quotations for variations and maintain records.
