Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to oversee transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT projects with cross-functional teams across multiple operating areas. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance, developing plans and executing through closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 2–4 years of relevant project management experience, or 3–6 years with a High School Diploma.
• CAPM or PMP certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus, communicate effectively and foster culture change.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader with multiple priorities.
• Proven leadership, communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with budgeting, costing and performance metrics reporting.
• Proficiency with Work, Excel, Access, Power Point, Project, Passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support project/program performance for cross-functional initiatives (transmission, substation, distribution, gas, IT).
• Manage costs, schedule, scope and risks; develop recovery plans as needed.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to align requirements.
• Communicate with sponsors and stakeholders on project issues.
• Coach and guide team members to clarify responsibilities and tasks.
• Identify resources with management support; ensure resources are secured.
