Zusammenfassung

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Transmission Design Engineer in Parsippany, NJ who will design 69kV–765kV transmission lines and mentor junior engineers.

You will coordinate design activities to meet specs, client requirements, and codes, prepare calculations and reports, and perform independent design reviews using PLS-CADD. A BS from ABET-accredited program and 12+ years of experience are required.

Qualifikationen

BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
12+ years of transmission design experience.
Proficiency with PLS-CADD software.
Experience with scopes of work, development of conceptual designs, design basis, equipment/materials selection, and calculations/specifications.
Experience working with clients on 69kV–500kV transmission lines.
Knowledge of standards including NESC, IEC, ASCE, ACI, IEEE and ANSI.

Aufgaben

Design transmission lines in the 69kV to 765kV range.
Mentor and train less experienced design team members.
Coordinate design activities to ensure installation and operations meet specifications, codes, and client requirements.
Prepare reports and studies presenting technical information per S&L formats.
Perform independent reviews of work including calculations, drawings, and PLS-CADD models.
Adhere to Sargent & Lundy's System of Processes.
