Job summary

Quanta-Services, via its QISG unit, seeks a Supervising Engineer - Transmission Line to lead high voltage infrastructure projects. The role involves planning, design, budgeting, and safety oversight to deliver reliable power delivery.

The ideal candidate will oversee engineers and designers, ensure timelines and budgets are met, and maintain compliance with industry standards and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in electric utility industry performing engineering or management on high voltage projects.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• P.E. license required.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong technical expertise in structural, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from inception to completion.
• Supervise a team of engineers and designers.
• Prepare designs, specifications and plans for substations and transmission lines.
• Develop and manage project budgets.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, public.
• Implement and oversee quality control procedures.
• Maintain detailed project status reports and records.
