Job summary

EMD Serono, Inc. is seeking a Principal Scientist in Translational Quantitative Pharmacology (TQP) to lead Model Informed Drug Development strategies and build quantitative systems pharmacology platform models across the R&D lifecycle.

You will oversee internal and CRO-driven projects, mentor teams, and communicate complex model-based analyses to diverse stakeholders, contributing to translational PK/PD decisions and dose selection across oncology and immunology programs.

Qualifications

• PhD in pharmacokinetics or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in industry/academia applying modeling & simulation to biological problems.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute MIDD strategies with emphasis on QSP platform models across the R&D lifecycle.
• Provide scientific supervision for TQP assignments, internal or with CROs.
• Communicate TQP science to interfacing disciplines and help build modeling toolboxes.

PhD in Pharmacokinetics / Pharmaceutical Sciences / Biomedical or Chemical Engineering / Applied Mathematics or related discipline
