Job summary
Eisai US is seeking a Director of Quantitative Systems Pharmacology to lead mechanistic modeling efforts that integrate biology with drug discovery and clinical development. You will drive QSP strategies, lead DHBL projects, and translate data into actionable models to inform dose selection and target populations.
The role requires a PhD/MD-PhD/PharmD with deep expertise in QSP, systems biology, and translational science, and offers collaboration across global teams and significant scientific
Qualifications
- PhD, MD-PhD and/or PharmD in a quantitative discipline.
- Deep knowledge of applied mathematical modeling (ODEs, PDEs) and parameter estimation.
- Demonstrated experience applying QSP to drug discovery or clinical development.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and apply QSP models to predict drug effects and optimize strategies.
- Lead DHBL preclinical and early clinical QSP development to support dose selection.
- Provide scientific leadership and present research at conferences; integrate MIDD into programs.
- Collaborate across functional groups to advance translational understanding.
