Job summary

Prolec GE Waukesha, Inc. is seeking a Test Manager to lead the transformer testing organization. You will ensure safe, efficient, and on-time testing of large power transformers, driving continuous improvement and standardization across the department.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction, while serving as the department's technical expert on testing practices and diagnostic methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience conducting electrical testing in a manufacturing, utility, or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformer testing organization and align with business objectives and production commitments.
• Develop testing personnel including Supervisors and Test Engineers with clear goals and succession plans.
• Set department priorities, staffing plans, and capital investment requirements.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and continuous improvement in testing.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE, IEC, ANSI, and customer requirements.
• Act as the technical authority on transformer testing and diagnostics.
• Lead FATs and represent testing in customer interactions.
