Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires LIUNA membership with journey person classification and applicable CBA.
• Proficient knowledge of Caltrans MUTCD and ability to read traffic control plans and permits.
• Experience reading traffic control plans, permits, and associated documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise traffic control work crews on site.
• Develop knowledge of work zone setups and traffic control responsibilities.
• Provide high levels of customer service with on-time arrival and well-managed work zones.
• Implement traffic plans and permits.
• Conduct daily Job Hazard Analysis and tailgate meetings.
• Onsite client contact and safety-focused leadership.
• Maintain safe, compliant work zones and meet customer/state/agency expectations.
• Read and interpret TCPs, plans, and signs; communicate with customers and team.
