Job summary

City Rise Traffic in Fresno is seeking a Traffic Control Lead to supervise field crews and manage work zones across California. The role requires strong leadership, safety focus, and excellent customer service, including onsite training and collaboration with safety and operations teams to ensure compliant, high-quality traffic control services.

The Lead will interpret TCPs, coordinate permits, perform job hazard analyses, and mentor staff while delivering reliable service to clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in a traffic control lead role or equivalent.
• Valid ATSSA flagging, traffic control tech, and supervisor certifications.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.
• First aid/CPR certification.
• TMA certification.
• Has completed internal lead training.
• Valid CA driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise job site.
• Develop superior knowledge of work zone setup and professional traffic control responsibilities.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers.
• Implement Traffic Plans & Permits.
• Complete daily Job Hazard Analysis and conduct tailgate meetings.
• Onsite client contact.
• Maintain safety focus across all job functions.
• Manage day-to-day work zone setup, maintenance and tear down.
