Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor II to oversee traffic control operations on state highways and local roadways. You will set up, monitor, and remove lane closures, redirect traffic for workers, and ensure all activities comply with safety regulations.

Lead traffic control crews, mentor team members, manage documentation, transport equipment to sites, and work a rotating on-call schedule with availability for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.
• ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor certification required.
• Must complete the ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor advanced training course.
• Proven experience setting up traffic control operations on state/local roadways.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily traffic control crews, including Traffic Control Technicians and Flaggers.
• Operate MOT and TMA vehicles on job sites to protect workers and work zones.
• Set up, monitor, and remove traffic control devices and signs.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety training to crew members.
• Maintain accurate timesheets and job documentation; travel to sites.
