Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor II to oversee traffic control operations for multiple projects. The role includes setting up lane closures, directing crews of technicians and flaggers, and ensuring safety protocols are followed on state highways and local roadways.

You will mentor new hires, maintain project documentation, transport equipment, and coordinate with field teams.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license.
• ATSSA Supervisor certification required; must complete advanced training.
• Minimum 3–4 years of traffic control experience on state/local roadways.
• Strong knowledge of traffic safety regulations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic control crews and supervise daily operations.
• Operate company vehicles to transport materials and equipment.
• Set up and manage lane closures, signs, cones, and safety devices.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety trainings to crew members.
• Maintain accurate timesheets and job documentation daily.
• Travel to various job sites statewide as needed.
