Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor II to oversee and execute traffic control operations for assigned projects. You will set up, monitor, and remove lane closures on state highways, redirect traffic for workers, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

You will lead crews, mentor team members, manage project documentation, transport equipment to sites, and perform gear maintenance. Willingness to travel statewide and night/weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ATSSA TC Supervisor certification is required.
• Must complete ATSSA TC Supervisor advanced training.
• Minimum 2–3 years (4,000+ hours) of traffic control experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Proven experience setting up traffic control operations on state/local roadways.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily traffic control crews and ensure safety protocols.
• Transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Set up, monitor, and remove lane closures and traffic devices.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety training to crew members.
• Maintain timesheets and job documentation.
• Travel to various job sites; occasional overnight stays.
• Perform shop duties and maintain inventory of equipment.
