Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor II to oversee lane closures, redirect traffic for workers, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The role leads crews of technicians and flaggers, delivers safety training, maintains job documentation, and arranges transport of equipment to diverse state-wide sites. Night work, weekends, and on-call rotation are required with DOT compliance essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
• 3–4 years (6,000+ hours) of traffic control experience.
• ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor certification required.
• Must complete the ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor advanced training course.
• Experience setting up traffic control on state/local roadways.

Responsibilities

• Oversee traffic control operations on assigned projects.
• Lead and mentor traffic control crews.
• Ensure safety protocols and PPE compliance.
• Transport equipment to and from job sites.
• Maintain project documentation and timesheets.
• Travel statewide as needed.
