Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Trade Foreman 2 to support heavy equipment and industrial construction projects in the Kansas City area. The role emphasizes supervising a crew, coordinating safety, quality and production goals, and applying lean practices on site.

You will read plans, manage crews, and coordinate with suppliers while ensuring tasks are performed efficiently and safely. A strong background in commercial construction and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/Technical degree preferred.
• Experience in commercial construction and field supervision.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in safety culture, mentoring others.
• Works with tools to complete specific assigned tasks on a project.
• Tracks and reports units and labor hours, including timecards.
• Maintains tools and equipment to support production.
• Leads and monitors safety and security procedures within the crew.
• Reads and understands plans, specifications and drawings.
• Provides on-the-job guidance and shares subject matter expertise.
