Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist, Lead, to apply deep expertise in export classifications and regulatory frameworks including EAR and ITAR. You will guide the full lifecycle of export and import compliance, lead product reviews, and support license determinations.

You will build and refine enterprise-wide trade compliance protocols and embed them into daily activities to ensure strong compliance culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in export controls.
• Experience building collaborative relationships across organizational roles.
• Experience analyzing international trade regulations.
• Proficiency with Excel and SharePoint.
• Ability to establish and improve trade compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior staff in developing exportability guidance.
• Ensure managers understand export control responsibilities.
• Classify products and encryption items under EAR/ITAR.
• Maintain export license files and records.
• Research and analyze export compliance issues and provide recommendations.
• Support development and continuous improvement of the trade compliance program.
• Support special projects as assigned.
