Blue Origin is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to govern its global export and import compliance program. You will develop SOPs, manage licenses, classify hardware, software, and data, and coordinate with engineers and program teams to ensure EAR/ITAR compliance while supporting audits and training.

This role requires strong regulatory knowledge, collaboration across functions, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Political Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of U.S. export/import compliance experience including ITAR/EAR classification and licensing.
• Experience writing and maintaining SOPs and policies for trade compliance.
• Knowledge of ECCN classification methodology and HTS/GRI principles.
• Experience preparing and managing license applications with DDTC and BIS.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and policies for import/export compliance.
• Keep framework current with ITAR, EAR, CBP, and OFAC requirements.
• Translate regulatory changes into internal policy updates with Legal and business teams.
• Support audits and self-assessments to identify and close gaps.
• Design and deliver trade compliance training for engineering, supply chain, and program teams.
