Job summary

Beehive Industries seeks a Lead Compliance Specialist to oversee day-to-day export controls and sanctions compliance across the company. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance for Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT, with potential expansion into broader corporate compliance activities.

The role requires deep regulatory knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to manage records, training, and risk assessments in a fast-moving defense-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in export controls, trade compliance, or sanctions.
• Experience with ITAR/EAR and OFAC programs.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts or programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct export-control and sanctions reviews of customers, end users, and destinations.
• Prepare classification records and license applications; manage licenses.
• Coordinate screening, investigate high-risk matters, and escalate appropriately.
• Advise multiple teams on routine trade compliance requirements.
• Maintain compliance records, inventories, and guidance materials.
• Monitor ITAR, EAR, OFAC changes and assess business impact.
• Develop and deliver role-based trade compliance training.
• Support internal reviews, investigations, and corrective actions.
